SaveSync

Marketing site for SaveSync — a cloud save tool for PC gamers. Designed to explain the product, drive downloads, and build trust.

Product

The Brief

SaveSync is a desktop tool that lets PC gamers sync their save files to the cloud — essentially solving the problem of losing game progress when switching machines or reinstalling. The product existed, but it needed a proper marketing site. The goal was to clearly explain what SaveSync does, make the download process frictionless, and build enough trust that gamers would feel comfortable installing a tool that touches their save data. The audience is technical enough to care about how it works, but not so technical that a GitHub README would suffice.

The Approach

The site was designed to answer three questions fast: what is it, why should I trust it, and how do I get it. The hero section leads with the core value proposition — never lose a save file again — followed by a clear feature breakdown that explains the sync mechanism without getting too deep into implementation. A dedicated section covers security and privacy, since gamers are rightfully cautious about tools that access their file system. The download CTA is persistent and visible throughout the page, reducing friction from interest to action.

Tech and Implementation

The marketing site was built to be fast and lightweight — no heavy frameworks, no unnecessary JavaScript. Page speed mattered here because the target audience (PC gamers) notices when things are slow, and first impressions matter for a product that’s asking for filesystem trust. The layout is fully responsive, though the majority of traffic comes from desktop since SaveSync is a PC tool. Visual design leans into the gaming aesthetic without going overboard — dark tones, clean typography, subtle accents that feel modern without being distracting.

Results

The site serves as the single source of truth for SaveSync — every link from forums, Reddit threads, and social posts points here. It gives the product legitimacy that a bare download link never could. The clear feature explanations and trust-building content reduced the number of repeated questions in community channels, and the streamlined download flow keeps the path from discovery to installation as short as possible.
